Six years ago, Mike Brown and Casey Lynch stood on Downtown Boise ’s 8th Street and wondered: Why don’t more people live here? Downtown seemed to have everything that a growing percentage of Americans wanted in a place to live. “I mean, there’s all kinds of jobs. At the end of one sticky month during the summer of 2017, Elizabeth Bolles will have finished packing the contents of her Riverbend apartment. She, her partner, their two young sons and two dogs will then pile into her Subaru and drive 350 miles to Houston, where her partner will start a new job.   The move is the upshot of six years of frustration and disappointment for Bolles since she graduated from Tulane University's law school in 2011. Since then, she's struggled to find a well-paying job in New Orleans; she's been runner-up for several positions and has worked odd jobs and short-term gigs to make ends meet . CLEVELAND, Ohio - The owner of downtown Cleveland's fourth-tallest building is doing an about-face, marketing the Tower at Erieview and the adjacent Galleria shopping mall for sale after more than a year of exploring a partial conversion of the skyscraper to apartments. RAIT Financial Trust recently put the buildings on the market, at an undisclosed price. A listing package from real estate company HFF , Inc., started making the rounds last week. The 40-story tower, at East 12 th Street and St. Clair Avenue, is only 45 percent leased, according to HFF's listing materials. The glassy, barrel- shaped Galleria is 60 percent leased. The property also includes a 421- space parking garage . As of Wednesday, students in Cedar Ridge were still without clean water, according to seventh-semester journalism and communications major Salma Yousif who created the Facebook post that originally sparked interest in the plight of students at Cedar Ridge. “It’s still super yellow, banana yellow, it’s really bad,” Yousif said.
