The five members of the Athens City School Board appeared to discover at a meeting Thursday night that they all support a single-campus plan for elementary buildings in the district, though many details must be worked out regarding the number of buildings on a single campus and the type of grade-level configuration those buildings would have. The School Board did not vote on anything or make any decisions during its meeting at Athens High School , but simply held a discussion to figure out how each member stands on what would be best for the elementary buildings. Police arrested one man and are searching for a second in a Thursday night fatal shooting that investigators say happened after the two victims posted a photo of themselves holding fistfuls of cash on a social media website .  Jywuan Butler, 19, was killed and his 17-year-old brother was wounded after the two were shot multiple times when two masked men dressed in black clothing entered their Sherwood Hollow Court apartment through an unlocked window about 11 p.m.,   Baton Rouge police said. These days it's a bohemian mix of variety stores, op shops, halal butchers and Lebanese bakeries. Take a side street to the west, however, and a different picture emerges. Sandwiched between Sydney Road and the Upfield train line is an area undergoing rapid and widespread transformation. Light industry is fast being replaced by mid- rise apartment buildings , their inhabitants attracted by the short commute into town and cheaper prices than in the city's south-east. The quality of these units is, on the whole, depressingly bad; think poor ventilation and bedrooms that "borrow" natural light (a weasel word for being dark and windowless). The occasional jazzy façade tries feebly to make up for otherwise cheap construction amid a chorus of greys. At ground level, carpark roller doors alternate with mean pocket garden...
