A neighbor flashing a box cutter prompted a devout Brooklyn Catholic to move to a different neighborhood — only to get stabbed to death Friday night near his new address. New details about why George Carroll and his wife chose to move away from Cypress Hills, the neighborhood they loved, added a tragic twist to his murder on a Greenpoint sidewalk.
