Police find unidentified man shot in butt

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A man was shot Thursday on Moncrief Road West in the city’s Washington Heights neighborhood, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at the Washington Heights Apartment just after midnight. Police said they found an unidentified man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot to his butt.

Police did not release any details regarding the man’s age or if there are any suspects.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
