Regency Park apartment burglarized

A home at Regency Park apartments on Sycamore Drive reportedly was burglarized between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. A TV, DVD player and a stereo, valued at $930, were stolen. A resident said the home had been locked, but officers found no evidence of forced entry, according to an Athens-Clarke County police incident report.

Two men suspected of brazenly breaking into cars early Friday evening led police on a chase through Petaluma, fleeing on foot after an officer rammed a patrol car into the suspect’s vehicle in an attempt to end the pursuit, police said.
