The city lists the property manager as Stephen Frenz.

Frez said in an email the collapse was an, "unfortuane accident" but there was no structural damage.

Frenz explained he met with city inspectors Wednesday morning and is working to repair the facade and the electrical connection. He said he is hoping resident will be back in the building by Thursday afternoon.

"This is a wonderful property in a wonderful neighborhood and we desire to have our residents homes restored as quickly as possible," Frenz said in email.

According to city inspector documents, Frenz has until Sept. 7 to repair the "hazardous conditions due to brick facade failure."

A city spokesperson confirmed Frenz is the subject of an investigation of various issues surrounding nearly 60 rental sites, and that the city "has initiated an action to revoke all of his rental licenses."

Frenz said the license actions by the city are, "completely unrelated" to the accident.

It’s not clear what would happen to the tenants living at those properties if Frenz loses those licenses.

The city plans to hold a revocation hearing Sept. 5. It could last several days.
