Man arrested after police respond to reported stabbing in Prescott

PRESCOTT, Wis. (WEAU) -- A man is arrested after the Prescott Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing.

According to the police department, it happened just after 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15 at The Camelot Apartments at 635 Pine Street in Prescott.

Officers found a woman with a cut to her neck. Police said she lived in the apartment. She was taken to a hospital for treatment, and her name isn't being released at this time.

A man living in the apartment is identified as 66-year-old Dennis Frank. Police said he was home at the time, and he was arrested.

The investigation is ongoing, and formal charges against Frank are pending.
