The Kokomo Police Department recently completed its 2nd Annual Junior Police Academy. There were 21 recruits involved in many aspects of law enforcement training. We would like to thank the families of these recruits for allowing them to participate. On Behalf of the Kokomo Police Department, we wish these graduates the best in their future careers.

The Kokomo Police Department wishes to extend its thanks to many community partners for such a great night out. On July 25th the Kokomo Police Department participated in 34th Annual National Night out. This year’s locations included Bon Air Neighborhood, Cedar Crest neighborhood, Civic Towers, Dunbar Court, Garden Square Apartments, Indian Heights Neighborhood, Pine Valley, Terrace Towers, Turtle Creek Apartments. These locations provided an environment for our citizens to come together to enjoy food, fun, and safety presentations. In addition, more than 600 of our residents enjoyed a night of swimming free of charge at Kokomo Beach.
