Residents at Stone Creek Village Apartments displaced by water main break

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (NEWSPLEX) -- Multiple people at an apartment complex in Albemarle County had to find another place to sleep after a water main break.

It happened at Stone Creek Village Apartments. Albemarle County Fire officials say seven units were damaged after a sprinkler head fell from the third floor.

The water trickled down to the apartments below, causing people to quickly gather their belongings and evacuate.

There's no word on the total cost of the damage.
