PHOTOS: Good Samaritans help firefighters find dogs at apartment fire on Indy's east side

Fire broke out around noon Tuesday at the Pangea Vista Apartments in the 5900 block of Village Plaza North Drive

Two good Samaritans saw smoke from the fire at the apartment and alerted the people who live there

The good Samaritans helped firefighters find three dogs that were inside one of the apartments

The three chihuahuas were not hurt

Damage from the fire is estimated at $40,000.  The Indianapolis Fire Department believes the fire was intentionally set.
