Hunt Club apartments in Ypsilanti acquired by New York firm
A New York investment firm and a Minnesota property manager are taking over ownership and management of a 440-unit rental apartment complex in Ypsilanti, the companies announced Tuesday.
Sterling American Property of New York and Timberland Partners of Minneapolis have assumed ownership of the Hunt Club apartments, a 390,000-square-foot development off Michigan Avenue.
According to the announcement, Sterling plans to invest close to $3 million in upgrades including renovations to the business center, pool, clubhouse, fitness center and landscaping.
The complex was previously owned by Denver-based Apartment Investment and Management Company.
Sterling and Timberland also own The Pines of Cloverland in Ypsilanti, and a development in Kansas.
