A Fort Wayne man faces several charges after police allegedly found various types of drugs inside his apartment.

Hansen, 20, of the 3500 block of Academic Place, faces felony charges of maintaining a common nuisance and dealing in cocaine or narcotic drug and misdemeanor charges of dealing in marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and minor in possession of alcohol.

Fort Wayne Police Department officers were dispatched at 11:20 a.m. Monday to Hansen's apartment after apartment leasing representatives reported finding what they believed were illegal substances in Hansen's apartment, according to a news release from Sgt. Mark Brooks. Officers reportedly found 50 grams of marijuana with a street value of $400; 13 grams of cocaine with a street value of $1,000; MDMA, commonly known as “molly” with a street value of $350; drug paraphernalia and alcohol.

Police arrested Hansen as the scene. The amount of marijuana and cocaine exceeds the amount of drugs for personal usage, according to Brooks.
