First Nashville Neighborhoods Sign up for Google Fiber

Here in the Durham area, I wish Google would fill the conduit they have already laid at our houses. And this is in the same Neighborhood as Fiber Hut RDU-127. It's 3/4 of a mile up the road from me. Duke Energy has upgraded just about every Utility pole in the area already and the other huts connecting it are installed also. So I don't think the excuse of waiting on others is one they can use.

I've been doing a lot of driving lately and I can say that work has dramatically stalled in the Chapel Hill and Durham area. May be the same for Raleigh. If fact, the Fiber Hut in Chapel Hill has never been installed yet so that messes up the ring connecting the Huts together. Most of the Durham and Raleigh Huts are installed as is the one in Carrboro next to Chapel Hill.

At this rate, I will have no problem finishing my contract with AT&T fiber if Google ever goes come. In fact, AT&T has raised the 1Gbps price above Google's $70 because Google isn't giving them enough competition.
