Inside Grand Rapids' biggest new apartment construction projects

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - There's still a lot of concrete to be poured and drywall to be painted, but progress is being made on two of the city's largest apartment construction projects . Rockford Construction Co. and Wolverine Building Group handed out hardhats and safety vests to reporters on Wednesday, Aug. 23, so they could show off the progress they are making on projects along Market Avenue SW and in the Midtown Neighborhood along the Medical Mile.. At 234 Market Avenue SW , Rockford Construction is past the halfway point in building an apartment complex that will include 235 rental units , a 300- car parking ramp and ground floor retail space The property sits just west of a $60 million expansion of Founders Brewing Co. and across Market Avenue from 19 acres of riverfront property used by city public works departments . Apartments on Jacksonville’s Southside sell for $57 million | Jacksonville News, Sports and Entertainment

The Loree apartments on A.C. Skinner Parkway have been sold for $57 million. The 300- unit complex opened early last year and is 97 percent occupied, according to Brian Moulder, the managing director of Walker & Dunlap who brokered the sale. Massive apartment project to change face of downtown Boca

Mizner 200 will be one of the largest construction projects in Boca Raton's downtown, offering three nine- story apartment buildings across 9 acres. There will be 384 new apartments and garages with 672 parking spaces. You’ll also see an overhauled stretch of Southeast Mizner Boulevard — inundated with new canopy trees, park space and benches along an 8-foot-wide, paver-laden sidewalk. It’s too early to say when construction will begin. But Mizner 200, at 200 SE Mizner Blvd ., will give the area a much-needed face-lift, some residents say.
