ABILENE, Texas - Construction crews are making progress on the sidewalks next to the Elm Creek Ranch Apartments on South Clack Street.

This project also includes a pedestrian bridge over Elm Creek, but it hasn't been designed yet.

They began this project on May 30 and expect the entire project to be completed in Spring 2018.

This project was approved by Abilene City Council in April for $352,435.

Two men suspected of brazenly breaking into cars early Friday evening led police on a chase through Petaluma, fleeing on foot after an officer rammed a patrol car into the suspect’s vehicle in an attempt to end the pursuit, police said.
